When you give Fitrana / Zakat al Fitr through Mehnat Qash Foundaton, we ensure your Fitrana reaches those in need before the Eid prayer begins. Your contribution provides:

Who must pay Fitrana / Zakat al Fitr?
Fitrana is obligatory for every Muslim who has food in excess of their needs. The head of the household pays for themselves and all dependents.
When is the deadline?
It should be paid as early as possible in Ramadan and must be paid before the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer to be counted as Fitrana.
This amount is calculated based on the local cost of approximately 2kg of a staple food item (like wheat, flour, or rice) as per Sunnah.
